Earlier in the week, Kerryn and Camilla showcased LAYOUT projects and Vicki and Leanne showed the versatility of using rub ons for CARDS .

Today Nerrida, Lesley and myself have gone 'BEYOND THE PAGE' with them.

Here is a little project share that I have created using the RB931 Lamp Posts.

Sentimental Plaque: 'Home It's where our story begins'

A while back I had a trip to the Geelong Kaisercraft outlet and came across these cute little frames. At the time I thought of a few things that I could do with them but of course they went into the scrap stash when I got home and only recently resurfaced when I was searching for something else LOL!!

I have played with some texture paste (this stuff is a bit addictive) again and have used this to alter the frame.

The twin lamp post rubon matches perfectly with the Wood Flourish FL325 Twin Lamp Post. I have used the rubon to create a distressed effect to the wood flourish.

To soften the look I then applied a touch of white ink and some texture paste in various spots.

This is beautiful Trudi. You are a true talent. I just love pretty things & reckon you could make some money selling things like these! I have some textured paste & a little trowel - rather nervous but I am also dying to crack it open :)
