O.K so I am a just little excited (O.K a lot) to be now part of the PaperHaus Magazine Blog Contributors Team. So much inspiration, it's a fabulous team of talented individuals. You must check out the blog as there is always something new to see.

'Remember Me' is featured today.  I am first to admit that most of my paper crafting projects are dedicated to my two girls and it is not often that I focus on myself. It's something that I am trying to work on and change.

Whether it is coming out from behind the camera or documenting some personal aspect, the concept of  'Remember Me' gave me the opportunity to focus on well me... kinda scary LOL. It's important to remember that I also have my own life story that needs to be documented and celebrated.

So, I'll share a little background on my project '1972':

Being a ‘70’s’ child, all of my early ‘childhood’ photos are on slides.  It has only been of recent times with the advancement in technology that we have been able to slowly work our way through them and be able to scan and store them digitally.  Some of the images have deteriorated with time, but I was able to improve with some photo editing software.  These are the few that I have found so far of myself as a baby with my Mum and Dad and they are so precious to me.  I am so blessed to have a wonderful relationship with both my parents. Their guiding hands, values and love have steed me throughout my life.   

I combined a few of my favorite things for this trip down memory lane back to the year 1972 – the year I was born.   I was a spring baby and wanted to include some pretty floral's to replicate the season. Fussy cut floral elements from Webster's Pages patterned papers have been layered with Twiddleybitz chipboard and Manor House Creations blooms.
