Marigold, Marigold, Marigold....

Hello!

I have a few projects to share dedicated to the beautiful Kaisercraft Marigold Collection.

First up an altered canvas:

The background of the canvas was altered with a Kaiser Wheat Template and some Impasto Medium to add a little texture and definition. Some misting was then added over the top with Tattered Angels Turquoise Blue, Key Lime Pie and Vintage Pink Glimmer Mists. The depth of colour was built up in layers allowing each colour to dry before applying the next.
Some more masking detail was added with the wheat template and white gesso paint.
Once dry, fussy cut elements were layered with Marigold collectables and a few stickers.
Foam Tape was used to attach some of the elements to add some dimension. Strong gel glue was used to secure everything in place.

For the following card, I used a  cardboard princess crown to help create the shape:

The frame elements of this collection are beautiful - another one has been incorporated with a sentiment along with a few more layered Marigold  Collectables.

And finishing off with a layout to showcase this beautiful collection:
Lots of fussy cutting, layering, decorative punching, banners and buntings - just a few of my favourite things
