'What can I get for you today? '...

Hi Lovely People,

So I wanted to go into more detail about this little 'Typography Cafe' which I shared recently for my Graphic 45 Audition:

I just love the smaller Twiddleybitz 6" x 6 "Shadow Box and the Fence and Awning  and already had an inkling of an idea forming. Then the idea came to full fruition when I came across the image of the 3 ladies on this Graphic 45 Typography paper:

I thought it would make for a fabulous mural in my little coffee shop arrangement and have incorporated in the background covering on the inside wall of the shadow box.

The shadow box and awning were first constructed and then covered with Typography papers with coordinating papers from Graphic 45 French Country 6 x 6 pad used for embellishing.  A set of stairs were constructed from paper - I have never made 3 D stairs so found these were a little fiddly. My patience was rewarded in the end and I love how they turned out.  These are glued into place, so no 'slipping accidents' are likely to happen.

A peek a boo window effect was created in the back with a Twiddleybitz mirror insert placed in front. 
Dining in a cafe is a little difficult if you have nowhere to sit and eat or drink - A Mini Twiddleybitz Chair and table satisfied this. You may spy a little stool towards the back - this was made from tooth picks and a couple of windows from Twiddleybitz Tweeny Bits Doors/Windows. 

Some  Miniature Houses were added and a 'fur friend'

 Little extra details included are the paper table cloths, chair cushion, cups, rolling pins, bitty tin, metal lighting (these were attached with cup hooks so that hang and swing freely)  and a Specials Menu

 The menu hangs via a clip attached to the back of it and can be easily removed for recording the day's 'specials'.
The gates have been created from a Twiddleybitz 'Mosaic Grab Bag' and Wrought Iron Corners. Bricks removed from a Half Page Brick Overlay add a little rustic side decoration

As I said,  I LOVE these little shadow boxes with the awnings.
