Kraft+ Inspiration: Beauty

Hello Lovelies!

Popping in today with my creative take for the new Kraft+ October 'Inspired By Nature' challenge.
This month we are getting back to NATURE

The challenge is to use feathers (they do not have to be real)
and something that nature has provided (these DO have to be real. Think shells, sticks, pebbles, leaves etc etc )

This is where the inspiration took me:

I also taken inspiration from the girl and her flowing hair and gorgeous colours of the feathers.

I included both coloured and 2Crafty chipboard feathers - Feather and Soft Feather Set - these have been painted with Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic White Paint. Colour was added with Ken Oliver Color Burtst Pigmented Powders and a little super fine blue glitter on the larger feather.

2CC Leafy Shrub Set 1, Ariel's Spray and a few twigs from the garden to create the flowing hair.

A few fussy cut yellow wildflowers from Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home paper and a Prima sweet rose bloom add a little floral beauty.

I used a Prima Bloom Girl Stamp for creating the face and have coloured her with water pencils. Prima Relics & Artifacts Chandelier Pendant and Rising Spirit elements have been coloured with Ken Oliver Color Burst Pigmented Powders in Ultramarine Blue and Violet. A 2CC Vintage Clock Hand also sits over the top of the Rising Spirit to complete the head dress piece.

The background of the Kraft cardstock was created with texture paste and colour was added with Color Burst Powders - Ultramarine Blue, Violet and Lemon Yellow.

The larger frame from the 2CC Square Leafy Frame Set was cut up and borders the canvas.

A few sequins and hemp twine were added around the outside frame. The word 'beauty' is from 2CC Mini Word Set1   and I have used it in for the sentiment quote:

Youth and beauty fade, Character lasts forever
