Ruby Rock It: It’s the most wonderful time of the year

Hello Everyone!

Trudi back with you today with another easel card created with the gorgeous Christmas Dreams Collection. Again, I have also coordinated some festive magic with the brand new colours from the Francheville card making range to create the easel card.

The new card range consists of Teal, Metallic Bronze, Metallic Pearl, Pink, Blue, Boysonberry and Ivory.

Ruby RockIt! Products:

Christmas Dreams 12x12 Paper Pad & 6x6 Paper Pad

Fundamentals Bitty Bows FTE17, Ruby Rock It Happy Days Droplets HYE18, Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon

Other:

Scalloped and Plain Circle Cutting Dies, House Metal Die,  Roller Die Cutting Machine, Wire Fence, Deer, Metal Lamp Post

To create the easel card:

Position a scalloped circle die over the folder edge of the Francheville card. I have worked with one of the new colours - pink.

Run the card through the die cutting machine.  Also die cut a single scalloped circle from another card (I used Ivory) or plain cardstock.

Fold over one have of the scalloped circles towards the fold

Tip: Try and match the scalloped edges

Now attach the individual scalloped circle to the folded part

Decorate the card surfaces with coordinating patterned papers from the Christmas Dreams 6 x 6 Paper Pad. Ink the  paper edges with Mermaid Ink Distress Ink.

I die cut scalloped circles and smaller plain edged circles.  I layered these, adding foam dots for a little dimension.
**Note a scene was created and the card has been created to stay open**
Add a sentiment to the background circle
Decorate the front with a house created from from a metal die and paper from the 6x6 Paper Pad.
Add a little fence and fussy cut tree elements and arrange around the house.

Fussy cut a candy cane and attach to a metal lamp post along with a wee bow.
Cut out the unicorn and sleigh and attach across the top of the card

Thanks so much for dropping by,

Happy Creating!
