Hello and Welcome to my final project created for the Tried and Tested Heidi Swapp Color Shine Feature recently seen in the Australian Scrapbook Ideas Magazine Issue 25.
I chose to go beyond the page for this one and have created a canvas:
Color Shine Sprays work
well with other mediums. Here I tried them out with texture paste and also coloured
white gesso with them which I used on this project.
Color Shine was added to white gesso to easily colour and alter the sides of my canvas.
A lovely stamped effect was also achieved by spritzing White Color Shine onto bubble wrap packaging and then pressing this onto my canvas. Also try dabbing a little Color Shine with a sponge over applied texture paste for a more subtle hint of colour.
Once again, Color Shine was used to alter Manor House Creations flowers and chipboard elements. Sweet Cherry, Mustard and Teal for the blooms. Chartreuse, Sweet Cherry, Mustard, Georgia Peach and Teal for the chipboard. Try applying the chipboard elements unaltered directly onto the canvas and affix with strong, clear drying glue. Swipe over them with white gesso paint and then spray over the top with the color sprays.
So as you can see with a quick
spritz it’s easy to add a touch of flair to your crafty creations. Heidi Swapp
Color Shine Sprays come in a range of beautiful colours. They are also acid
free, nontoxic & water based which makes them perfect for your next paper
crafting project.
Full instructions for recreating this project are included in the Australian Scrapbook Ideas Magazine Issue 25.
