Happy Creating - Prima 2015 DT Application

Hello!!

Welcome to my 2015 Prima Design Team application showcase.  I have previously had the immense pleasure and happiness of being a Prima 'Flower Girl' back in 2011/2012 and here I am throwing my hat back in the ring.

Following are projects that are reflective of my creative style and strengths for design, composition and attention to detail:

Light House:
(Showcasing Prima Sea Shore Collection, Shabby Chic Treasures, Memory Hardware, Say It In Crystals, Stencil, Color Bloom Sprays)

Designer Note:
The light house was created using my own template design. The foundations first created with stronger chipboard and then covered with Sea Horse patterned papers. A brick pattern was added to the base of the lighthouse using a Prima stencil and texture paste. Extra detail was added to the brick work with Gesso, Glass Glitter and Color Bloom Sprays.   Resin and Metal elements add a touch of shabby and Chantilly Metal Knobs hemp twine and shells add a little nautical and seaside influence.

**Also note the top of the lighthouse lifts off so that the LED candle can be switched on and off **

Layout:
(Showcasing Prima SeaHorse Collection - Papers and coordinating flowers, Shabby Chic Treasures, Vine, Stencil, Color Bloom Sprays )

Designer Note:
Texture was first added to the background page with a Prima 12" x 12" page stencil and Texture Paste. A burst of happy color was added over the top with Color Bloom Sprays. A vine has been cut up and tucked in around the floral clusters.

'Happy'

Some Of The Details:
Fussy Cutting, Die Cutting and clustering of pretty flowers, vine and Shabby Chic Treasures

Time Traveler Hat:

(Showcasing Prima Time Traveler Collection, Flowers, Vine,  Shabby Chic Treasures, JunkYard Findings, Wood Buttons)

Designer Note:
The toning and design elements of the Time Traveler collection were the initial inspiration for this project - along with the quirky plastic black round glasses that were part of a magic showbag one of my girls got from the local show/fair last year.   The hat has been fashioned from patterned papers and then embellished with fussy cut elements, a vine, flowers, and trinkets with a steampunk influence .

Some Of The Details:

Canvas:

(Showcasing Prima Anna Maria Collection - Papers, Button Flairs, Chipboard, Ticket and Tags, Flowers, Color Bloom Sprays, Doll Stamp)

For every girl who dreams of their 'happily ever after'

Designer Note:
I have used the Prima Aurora Doll Stamp and dressed her up with elements from the Anna Maria Collection.
