Unless
You can be a peacock, Then always be a peacock
Hi Everyone,
Popping in today with a project created for 2Crafty Chipboard.
I have used lots of lovely 2Crafty loveliness to build and construct my version of a peacock.
This is where my inspiration started from in its natural state:
The peacock body created with Alison's Corner and the beautiful cascading plumage of a peacock tail replicated with the layering of Handrawn Feathers, Large Leafy Vine and Leafy Shrub Set 1.
The canvas background was created, taking inspiration from the lush toning of a peacock's plumage.
I worked with Ken Oliver Color Burst powders and water, texture paste and mica flakes.
2Crafty elements have been painted with Dina Wakley White Heavy Body Acrylic Paint.
Color Burst Powder was activated with water to add a little colour and a fine sprinkling of holographic glitter for some sparkle. A few crystal gems have been placed to replicate
the eye effect that we see in a peacocks feather.
The paint 'bubbled' effect on the chipboard was created by drying the wet paint with a heat gun.
A slight opalescent effect for the mini word 'always' was created with Tinby Metallic Melts - Glistening Snow was heat set over the top of black ink.
