I'm A Good Girl I Am!

Hi Everyone,

I have another canvas to share again working with the beautiful C94 FabScraps My Fair Lady Collection.  I took inspiration from 'My Fair Lady' herself from the movie with the quote "I'm a good girl I am!'

I worked with distress ink to create the background.  Masked detail was added to create the dress detail.

Tulle was attached to create the fine netting of the dress and a die cut umbrella was added to create the top, frilly part of the dress.

 Hand rolled roses and fussy cut elements layered over the top of tulle to create the dress corsage.

 Smaller roses were added to the arrangement.

Time Gypsy

Hi Everyone,

I created this canvas with beautiful FabScraps C94 My Fair Lady papers and 2Crafty Chipboard.
It is also the first time that I have worked with an oval canvas and I found the experience quite pleasing. 

Texture was added to the background with 2Crafty Chipboard and texture paste. The clock frame, dress form and flourish chipboard elements were fixed affixed in place, then everything was covered with white gesso before colour was added.

Colour was added with sprays and ink.  A little accenting done with metallic gold paint.

The dress was created from fussy cut blooms layered to cascade down.

Pretty flowers scattered over the top - I used Green Tara flowers this time. 

Some vintage metal elements were also added.

Mixed Media Canvas: 'Be You'

Hello!

Today I am sharing a mixed media canvas with you all. I have had lots of fun creating this with Colour Blast products and lots of 2Crafty Chipboard loveliness.

"Be You"

I arranged the 2Crafty Chipboard elements  to create the flowing hair of the girl and to add decoration.  

I used Roxy's Flourish, Leafy Shrub Set 3 and a Pen Nib.

  

Part of Word Circle was trimmed to create the eyelashes.

The background of the canvas was created with Colour Blast Shimmer Sprays - I worked with a few colours to build up the layers and the intensity.

I also used the Shimmer Sprays for adding accents to the chipboard elements.

The Indian Dreamcatcher was used as a jewellery piece to create a hanging earring.
