Every little bit helps

Like so many, I have felt absolute heartbreak at the loss and devastation that the recent floods in Queensland and now New South Wales and Victoria have and are still inflicting. My heart goes out to each and every one that has been affected directly and indirectly by these events.
Your Creative Journey Silent Auction for QLD Victims was founded by Sherry Mendoza (Your Creative Journey) and Tracey Shenton (Pages2Scrap) with the aim of raising funds to go towards the Flood Relief. It is a silent auction of art by some Australian and International creatives and artists. Donna Downey and Melody Ross Workshops and amazing artwork by other well know artists.

All details and Silent Auctions for "Your Creative Journey Silent Auction for QLD Victims" can be found HERE

There are also many creative individuals like myself who just wanted to help in any way they could. As they say every little bit helps

I have donated a recently altered 'Cuckoo Clock' that I completed for Kaisercraft to the cause.

There are also so, so many other creative souls assisting the recovery efforts. These gorgeous people represent some of the wonderful effort that is taking place across the craft community at the moment.

Michelle Jamieson has also arranged an appeal for scrapbooking products to be donated and shipped to her as many of her friends lost everything in Dalby; details can be found HERE

Sharryn Thomson is coordinating a collection of scrapbooking layouts and cards for those that have lost their precious memories in the floods - details can be found on her Rising Floods Appeal for Crafters blog HERE

Sandra from Shabbylicious Designs has also donated beautiful hand made girl's dresses for auction. Check out her page HERE for various auction details.
