MHC: Sisters...

I did have so much fun putting this one together - perhaps a little different to my usual 'style' but sometimes it's good to experiment and try different things.  You will still find a few of my style characteristics - lots of layering,  fussy cutting, detail and of course pretty Manor House flowers and some Twiddleybitz chipboard.

I started with a white sheet of cardstock and added some mixed media detail.  A Kaisercraft Butterfly mask and some Impasto paste created the foundation with lots of misting, gesso and subtle stamping over the top. Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Spritz's provide a fabulous hit of iridescent colour - I used Mint Green, Mustard, Georgia Peach and Primrose.   A touch of Tattered Angels Turquoise Blue was also added to the mix.
A few of the recently released Manor House 2012 Spring Collection feature including Mini Dahlia's and Mini Glitter Roses.  A few of the pink glitter roses were spritzed with Heidi Swapp Primrose and Pink Bubblegum Glimmer Mist to intensify the colour. A shot of bold turquoise was added to a few white mini dahlia's.
Some fussy cut elements from Kaiser Secret Admirer papers were layered under the floral clusters.  A black Hambley decorative frame elements adds contrast along with the Twiddleybitz WI002 Wrought Iron Filigree chipboard element which was also inked black.  A Twiddleybitz WOR080  'Sisters' word creates the title for my page. This was inked in a softer hue of pink.
