Kaisercraft: Enchanted Garden

Hello,
Spreading a little fairy magic today with some projects created from Kaisercraft's Enchanted Garden collection.

First up, an easel card arrangement:

A Layout dedicated to my 'Fairy Princess'

And a set of Butterfly Altered Drawers including a Tutorial:

The Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden collection combined with their Butterfly Drawers create the perfect hide away for all those special little treasures that are collected by my own two little, sweet fairies.

Add a touch of enchantment with fussy cut images of fairies, flowers and mushrooms from patterned papers. Layer these with a few of the Collectable elements to create a truly magical scene. Attach some of the elements with foam tape to add a little dimension.

To recreate Enchanted Garden Butterfly Drawers:

KAISERCRAFT PRODUCTS:

Enchanted Garden Collection – P1220 Bewitch, P1221 Entrance, P1223 Mesmerise, P1224 Magic x 2, P1227 Soft Whisper; SB2235 Butterfly Drawers, CT761 Enchanted Garden Collectables, Wooden Flourishes – FL521 Ladders, FL421 Dress Mirror, FL331 Bookplates Oval, TM812 Metallic Drawer Knobs - Brass

OTHER:

White Gesso, Aidrondack Dabber -Metallic Gold, Modge Podge, Craft Glue (clear drying), Double Sided Tape

INSTRUCTIONS:

Assemble and glue MDF components and drawers together. Paint edges of the MDF unit with white gesso paint. You may also like to paint the inside side walls and back of the unit.
Decorate the bottom shelves with Entrance paper – trimmed to fit
Cover the 2 sides and the top of the unit using the reverse side of Mesmerise paper.
Cover the back of the unit with the Magic paper – use the bottom left hand corner of the paper so that the image is seen.
Starting with the bottom drawer, measure the front. Working from the bottom left hand edge of the Magic paper, trim a width to fit.  Adhere to the front of the drawer. Do the same for the next two drawers, measuring up from the last trimmed edge of the paper so that the image will flow when the drawers are assembled.

Cover the sides and backs of each of the drawers with Mesmerise paper.
Attach Brass Metal Drawer Knobs to the front of each of the drawers.
Fussy Cut the fairy, pink flowers and mushroom from the Bewitch paper and the white frame element from the Soft Whisper paper.  Cut around the outer edge of the frame leaving the middle piece intact. Now cut along 3 of the inside edges so that the middle piece now creates a door effect.
Attach the fussy cut pink flowers to the top - position along the bottom right hand edge.
From the Collectables pack attach with foam tape a large floral element towards the back left hand side. Fold and attach the fussy cut fairy on top so it looks like she is sitting on the flowers. Position and attach the fussy cut frame element and mushroom – first fold the bottom edge of the mushroom stalk to create a little flap to make it easier to attach with clear drying glue.
Position and attach the wooden ladder and dress mirror elements
Arrange some more floral, fairy and floral Collectable elements to finish the scene.
