Sassy Scrappers: Precious Moments

 Hello Lovely People,

I have another somewhat 'festive' project share for Sassy Scrappers showcasing Graphic 45's Twas The Night Before Christmas.  This time I have focussed on the lovely green of the collection.

The little 'Christmas Bell' is my gorgeous niece and the photo captured by her very talented mummy (Kristy Knotting)

I started with the reverse side of the Ho Ho Ho paper and removed a 10" x 10" square from the centre. This is a little trick I do as it maximises the one sheet of patterned paper. Trim the edges of a sheet of white cardstock about 1" and then randomly punch with a decorative border punch. Lay the cardstock over the Ho Ho Ho paper covering the 'square hole'. Place the smaller square ealier removed over the top. Embellish with trimmed paper accents around the outer edge.
A cascading branch effect was created with Twiddleybitz FER002 Fine Fern Leaves. These were dabbed with metallic gold paint.  The fern leaves were then arranged along the side of the photo with a medley of Prima Flowers  arranged over the top. Before affixing everything in place, move the fern leaves if necessary so that they peek out from the blooms.

Some of the Prima Flowers I have incorporated were not quite the right geen in colour.
Spraying with Dylusions Fresh Lime did coordinate them better with the green of the paper. White paint was also lightly dabbed onto some of the petal to soften a little.

Fussy cut holly sprigs from the Happy Holly Day paper were then tucked into the floral arrangements.
